As of 1:40 p.m. today, the Craig County Election Board reports that two persons have filed as candidates for the Welch Board of Education election: Steve Harris, who has previously served on the board, and Brian Mooney, who would serve his first term if elected. Candidates have until 5 p.m., Wed., Dec. 9 to file their candidacy at the Craig County Election Board.
