In Memoriam: Dustin Lee Taylor

WELCH—Dustin Lee Taylor, 36 years old, a lifelong resident of Welch, passed away Apr. 10, 2017, at his home. He was born July 21, 1980, in Miami, Okla., to Larry Taylor and Janice (Swango) Taylor.

Dustin was a graduate of Welch High School. When he was a child, he attended Welch Christian Church. Later, he attended with friends at the Assembly of God.

Dustin previously worked as a toll booth attendant for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. He loved going to the lake where he enjoyed swimming and boating. He also enjoyed cooking, baking, and singing karaoke. He was a friend to many, and he enjoyed his family to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Janice, and his great grandmother, Mae Fugate.

He is survived by his partner, Brian Copeland, of the home; his siblings, Kelli Biggs and husband Shannon of Welch, Aaron Taylor and Megan Taylor of Saint Peters, Mo.; his father and step-mother, Larry and Sharon Taylor of Saint Peters, Mo.; his step-father, Ron Singleton of Grove, Okla.; his grandmother, Donna Raus of Welch; two nieces, Morgan Cook and Bryndl Biggs; two aunts, Susan Woolman and Carol Webb; and an abundance of friends.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Fri., Apr. 14, 2017, at Williams Timberhill Cemetery, east of Welch. Pastor Tyson Wynn will officiate.

    We will never forget you. Your babies know u loved them very much. We love you very much!! Sure gonna miss that smile. God got an amazing angel. You deserve health and happiness. I’m So hurt the pain is overbearing but I can’t be selfish. U deserve health and happiness. Maybe not in our arms anymore but forever and always in our heart. Love you Dustin. More than u will ever know.
