Our Interview with Lorene Bible for Lauria’s 34th Birthday

WELCH—Today is Lauria Bible’s 34th birthday. Dec. 30, 1999, she went missing while staying the night with here friend, Ashley Freeman, at the Freeman home near Welch. That night, their mobile home was burned. Following the fire, the bodies of Danny and Kathy Freeman were discovered in the fire, both dead as the result of gunshot wounds. Lauria and Ashley were nowhere to be found, though Lauria’s vehicle was in the driveway, keys in the ignition, and her purse, with ID and $200 cash, was later found in Ashley’s burned out bedroom.

Since that night, the Bibles have searched for Lauria, continually hoping someone, somewhere with the missing piece of information they need would come forward. That hope remains unchanged today. Today, we sat down for an extended conversation with Lorene. We hope something we said will encourage everyone with information to share it with Lorene or the authorities. There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to recovery of Lauria Bible.
