Welch, Oklahoma, is a small town in extreme northeastern Oklahoma. Located in Craig County, the population is approximately 600. Until Jan. 17, 2017, local news was limited primarily to that reported by The Vinita Daily Journal and The Miami News-Record. We’re happy that KVWO 94.7 FM is changing that, as it was licensed to serve the Welch area on that date. WelchOK.com, founded by Tyson Wynn in November 2009, has been your source for all Welch news and information, all the time. As of KVWO’s on-air date, Tyson Wynn has donated WelchOK.com to Voice of Welch Communications, Inc., the non-profit organization which is the licensee of KVWO 94.7 FM.
