Welcome to the WelchOK.com live streaming page.
We’re happy to announce the Welch State Bank Mobile Webcast Unit. Welch State Bank has generously underwritten the cost of technology upgrades that—combined with what we were able to do as a result of people pitching in last school year—will make our live streaming capabilities far greater.
If you’re listening via your PC, all you have to do is click the “play” button below or on the player in the right sidebar of any page on our site. We try to keep an audio loop active so you can test your player when we’re not doing a live event. You should hear music and our WelchOK.com logo (“WelchOK.com. All Welch. All the time.”). If you want to listen via smart phone or other media players on your PC, instructions are below the audio player.
If you appreciate our live audio efforts, please say thanks by tossing a couple bucks in our tip jar. Check out the right sidebar to donate via PayPal. You can also mail checks to WelchOK.com, PO Box 1, Welch, OK 74369.
Upcoming Webcasts:
Sat., Feb. 18, 2012: Regional Tourney in Bristow
Regional Championship Game: Wildcats v. Glencoe, Sat., Feb. 18, 2012, 8:00 PM
Join us at 7:45 PM for our pre-game show, featuring an interview with Coach Schertz.
We try to establish the live stream at least 15 minutes before each game, and there should always be an audio loop up so you can test your PC or mobile device.
iPhone, iPad, and iPod users, click the apple icon to listen!
Blackberry users, the icon to the left should work for you.
If you’d rather listen in Windows Media Player, click the icon to the left.
If you’d rather listen in Winamp, click the icon to the left.
If you’d rather listen in iTunes/Quicktime, click the icon to the left.
Listening via Cell Phone
To listen on your smart phone, try selecting one of the above links. Our stream’s direct address is http://173.193.9.73:8020/. For some phones and browsers (especially Blackberries), simply clicking that link will launch your audio player and play our stream. You can also try copying and pasting that in your player if you prefer. If your cell allows you to download apps, try the Shoutcast Radio app (on iPhone or iPad). On the Android, our stream is confirmed to work with StreamFurious app, but we’ve also been told that the default audio player should play it. Winamp has also released a free Shoutcast app for Droid, so you might try it.
Thanks!
